How Novamilli handles your information

This page explains what Novamilli stores on your device, when limited data can leave your device, how Android backup and device transfer may include app data, and how to contact us with privacy questions.

Who we are

Novamilli is a pregnancy companion app. If you have privacy or support questions, contact us at support@novamilli.com.

Data stored on your device

To keep the app working, Novamilli stores pregnancy and app data in app-private storage on your device.

  • Pregnancy details such as due date, pregnancy status, and weekly progress.
  • Article progress, shopping checklist choices, symptom check-ins, appointments, and emergency card details.
  • Bump photo metadata and exported timeline details, plus photos or videos you choose to save to your device library.
  • Language and country preferences, plus your medical disclaimer and analytics consent choices.
  • If Android backup or device-to-device transfer is enabled on your device, compatible app data may also be included in system-managed backup or transfer.

Optional analytics and crash reports

If you opt in, Novamilli may send limited usage analytics and crash diagnostics to Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. We use those reports to improve app reliability and understand which features need work. These reports stay off unless you turn them on in the app, and if you later turn them off, new reports stop being sent.

Shopping links and remote content

Novamilli can show affiliate product suggestions and product thumbnails from Novamilli-hosted remote files. Shopping buttons open external stores in your browser, and those stores have their own privacy practices.

Permissions and device access

  • Photos and videos via Android's system picker: to let you choose bump photos from your device.
  • Media library access when you export: to save your bump timeline video to your device.
  • Notifications: to remind you about appointments if you enable reminders.

Android backup and device transfer

Android may include compatible Novamilli data in cloud backup or device-to-device transfer when those features are enabled in your device settings. We do not use this to create a separate Novamilli cloud account, and the exact backup behavior depends on your Android version, device, and system settings.

How we protect data

Most app data stays in Novamilli's app-private storage on your device. Optional analytics and crash reports are disabled until you enable them. Shopping links open in your browser only when you tap them, and any information you share with retailers is handled under their own policies.

Data retention and deletion

Your local app data stays on your device until you reset the app, delete specific items, uninstall the app, or it is removed through Android system backup rules. If you opt in to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics and later turn them off, new reports stop being sent, but previously collected reports may remain in those services for their existing retention period.

Your choices

  • You can reset local app data inside the app.
  • You can enable or disable optional analytics and crash reports inside the app at any time.
  • You can contact support@novamilli.com for privacy questions or help understanding local data reset and backup settings.
